Anyways, go get the toddler bed and I'm no good on the keeping in the room because we weren't living in a two-story when we had Victoria. Good Luck - I'm sure we won't be far behind you. :-)Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17401775744092911484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801079.post-1147915436088061822006-05-17T18:23:00.000-07:002006-05-17T18:23:00.000-07:00I'm no help to you--Caiden crawled out at 21 month...I'm no help to you--Caiden crawled out at 21 months, and I turned his bed into a toddler bed so he wouldn't damage his brain. He got out of his bed 82,000 times every day during naptime. And at night, he'd sleep up against the closed door. (with doorknob baby lock installed, so he couldn't sneak out) Finally, after a very long time, he stayed in his bed. Good luck :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03867656058895825645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801079.post-1147899016576692532006-05-17T13:50:00.000-07:002006-05-17T13:50:00.000-07:00I had to move A. to a big bed before he turned 2.....I had to move A. to a big bed before he turned 2...I have rails on the side of the bed, and so far, so good. I also have one of those things on his doorknob that prevent him from opening the door when I close it. If he needs me, well, that's what monitors are for. :-)boomamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13675279081741763175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801079.post-1147897118609113652006-05-17T13:18:00.000-07:002006-05-17T13:18:00.000-07:00I assume mattress is in lowest position and rails ...I assume mattress is in lowest position and rails in highest? If so, then I'd lower them so she doesnt get a concussion and do the baby gate thing. Man do you have your hands full! Two baby gates, one on top of the other? (Maelee the oldest was 2 1/2 like Reia.) But if she's scaling the baby bed, I'm thinkin' she'll be able to climb a baby gate too.

Sorry, no earth shaking advice here. That's what I think I'm going to have to do with my 2nd one. Totally frustraing I know. But, it is safer that way. My third child did the same thing to me at 19 months. Now he won't stay in bed. I have resorted to putting a gate up in his doorway so that when he does get out of bed, he can't wander down the hall way, especially at night when others are sleeping.Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00854058050033482367noreply@blogger.com
